First National Convention was held on 30-31 July 1955 at Calcutta in which Indian Junior Chamber was founded and constitution adopted.

Jc. Ian Naylor, an Irish gentleman from Standard Chartered Bank,Vasco introduced Jaycees to Goa with formation of Vasco Junior Chamber on 6th June 1966.
